We hope that you are finding that our tools are helping you address the more complex of your business problems. The trouble is that it will take months to know whether the decisions you have made as a result are paying off or not. The other problem is that you are risking your own money.

Well, with business simulations you can do just that.
We all know they are somewhat frustrating in that you are not playing with the full orchestra, but it is hard to avoid being addicted, especially when you find that, by some happy accident, the 0s keep piling in. Time to sign your simulation.
And if you want to add some fun to a conference, they are pretty good too.
So, if you would like a place where you can load up a bunch of free-but-worthwhile simulations, try Forio (choose “Simulations sold through Forio”).
We particularly liked the Brand Management Simulation, and the Product Portfolio (PDA Sim).

The plan that gives you the answer…………………?
In preparation for the finalisation of our own brand plan format, built in Excel, which will be the companion piece to our brand audit tools:
- the Open Road™ workshop – takes you through the process in a workshop
- the Road Map – analyses your brand
- the Route Planner – builds an interactive brand plan
we have been looking around at what everyone else is offering.
The tool that has struck us as being particularly interesting is the one from Business Strategy Analysis.
Based on a limited amount of information, not only do they chart it all up for you, but they also analyse the contents, ask you some burning questions, and make suggestions for improvement.
We have never used it, so it might not be as smart as it thinks it is, but if it is, there is some real added-value in there.
There is a demo on site, so have a look if you have time.
Of course, we will ensure that we make ours even better.
